NEWARK, DE - Delaware Dynasty announced that Fran Kulas has joined the club as its first Head Coach. Mark Puican joins Delaware Dynasty as the team's Assistant Coach and Keith Duncan signed on as the team's Goalkeeper Coach.

The Dynasty also announced that Archmere Academy, in Claymont Delaware, is the official training facility for the 2006 season.

"Delaware Dynasty prides it self on being able to offer athletes a professional environment and the best possible facilities to achieve their maximum potential on and off the field," said Delaware Dynasty founder and President Ahmed El-Kadars. "Delaware Dynasty is committed to foster the physical, mental, and emotional growth and development of the area through the sport of soccer. Being able to positively affect the lives of those in our community is the goal of Delaware Dynasty."

"Supporting the sport of soccer is nothing new for Delaware. It was just a matter of time before the Delaware Dynasty organization came in to pick up the void that was left in the years prior," said Dynasty Vice President Michael Iqbal. "Delaware Dynasty's involvement with soccer will take soccer to its highest entertainment and development level. More importantly it will provide a commitment to the youth to provide them with local soccer heroes in whom they can look up to."

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Delaware Dynasty is promoting Health through a program developed to encourage nutrition and physical activity established with Nemours / A.I duPont Children's Clinic.

The Message: 5 - 2 - 1 - Almost None!
Five: Servings of fruits and vegetables per day
Two: Hours or less of screen time per day
One: Hour or more of physical activity per day
Almost None: Sugar-sweetened drinks - soda, sports drinks, fruit drinks

Opportunities for students of area Universities and Colleges:
Our objective is to support athletic training and sport management academic programs of area universities and colleges, by offering opportunities to students to gain hands-on work experience by assisting Delaware Dynasty; Operational tasks, Health programs, and Athletic injury care initiatives.

HEAD COACH
A former coach with the D-3 Delaware Wizards and the W-League's Delaware Genies, Fran Kulas returns to the USL as Delaware Dynasty's first Head Coach. Kulas has served as an Assistant Coach of the men's soccer team at the University of Delaware and Assistant Coach of the women's soccer team at Morehead State. He also served as the State Director of Coach and Player Development for the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association. He has held the position of staff coach for Region I & II ODP and has served as a National Education Staff Member for both US Soccer and US Youth Soccer. Kulas also holds the USSF -A- Coaching License.

ASSISTANT COACH
Following his graduation from high school, Mark Puican excelled for four years at the University of Delaware as a goalkeeper. Following his collegiate career, Puican played professionally for the Delaware Wizards of the USL D3 Professional League for two seasons. The former Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at the University of Delaware is currently the Boy's Goalkeeper Coach for the Delaware Olympic Development Program.

GOALKEEPER COACH
Prior to joining the Dynasty, Keith Duncan worked for four years as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at the University of Delaware. Prior to his stint at UD, he was the goalkeeper coach at NCAA II Wilmington College for both men's and women's soccer.

2006 TRYOUTS
The 2006 Tryouts will take place from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm on January15th, January 29th, Frebruary 19th, March 19th, and April 16th at Archmere Academy's state-of-the-art Sprinturf artificial surface playing field in Claymont, DE - The Official Training Facility of Delaware Dynasty.

Delaware Dynasty's Coaching Staff will be assessing players attending the tryouts. Players who are successful in the open tryouts will receive an invitation to Delaware Dynasty's Invite Only Combine that will be held on Saturday April 22nd and Sunday April 23rd.
